Which gearboxes are self-locking?
Right angle gearboxes with ratios greater than 25:1 (or 50:1 with plastic gears) will usually resist movement up to their torque rating. As the physical size of the gearbox increases, the lowest ratio at which self locking occurs increases. Please contact us for more information.
