Celebrating Women in Engineering Day at Parvalux

Today marks the 12th annual Women in Engineering Day — a global celebration recognizing the incredible contributions of women in the engineering industry. It’s a day to reflect on the progress made, acknowledge the challenges that still exist, and shine a spotlight on the women who are breaking barriers, leading innovation, and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

At Parvalux, we are proud to support and empower women in engineering across all areas of our business. Their ideas, leadership, and passion are vital to our success and future.

To honor this special day, we teamed up with Holt Recruitment to produce a powerful and insightful video, highlighting the voices of some of the talented women in our team. They shared their personal journeys, career advice for aspiring engineers, and what makes Parvalux a great place to grow in this field.

This collaboration is more than a celebration — it’s a reminder of the importance of representation, mentorship, and opportunity for women in STEM. We’re proud to be part of that conversation and even prouder of the women who make Parvalux what it is today.

Alison from Holt Recruitment asked our engineers: What advice would you give to a young woman considering a career in engineering?
Karolina, who works in Sample Pack Conversion, shared:
“Be open-minded and take on new challenges.”

Sharayu, our Project & Change Management Officer, added:
“Women entering engineering shouldn’t be intimidated by male dominance — there are more women joining the field every day, and we’re all here to support one another.”

Alison also asked: Why is Parvalux a great place to work?
Project Manager Barbara Muro Da Silva replied:
“It’s a collaborative environment where you always feel supported.”

Sharayu agreed, highlighting how Parvalux is committed to mentoring and providing guidance every step of the way.

At Parvalux, inclusivity isn’t just a value — it’s a driving force. We believe that when everyone feels welcome and empowered, innovation thrives. Great ideas come from all walks of life, and we’re proud to create an environment where every voice matters.

Dominika Dingova, our Program Manager and a passionate advocate for women in engineering, summed it up perfectly:
“By having more women in engineering, we benefit from diverse viewpoints and approaches — which are essential for innovation.”

Sharayu also expressed her hopes for the future, advocating for early exposure to engineering in schools:
“We should cultivate the seed of engineering in young minds. Many children might not even realize the possibilities an engineering career can offer.”

Karolina echoed this sentiment, sharing how excited her 9-year-old son was to visit the factory during our family open day.
