Automated storage and retrieval systems (also known as AS/RS or ASRS) motors power the equipment that automatically positions and retrieve items from specific storage locations in warehouses and factory stores. ASRS is a combination of computer-controlled mechanical devices and this industry has grown rapidly as a result of emerging IoT technologies and the global adoption of online purchasing. Changes in the way we buy things have led to a greater need for more efficient, quicker ways of managing inventory and stock – in turn, the development of the Parvalux modular range will offer a quicker route to system evolution through an accelerated prototyping process.

Within our modular range you’ll find both brushed and brushless motor options at different frame sizes and stack lengths. Generally, the larger the frame size, the more powerful the motor, however, there is some cross-over between the varying stack lengths of similar sized motors.

These motors integrate seamlessly with the modular gearboxes within the range through use of intelligently designed mounting flanges. Supplied as standard with a hollow shaft, adding a gearbox to your combination enables a higher torque output than a motor-only solution.

The last element of the modular range are accessories. These include brakes and encoders for your motor, and a shaft extension kit for your gearbox, enabling you to fine tune your modular configuration to meet the exact requirements of your specification.
