What is a right-angle gearbox?

In a right-angle gearbox, the input and output axes are set so they create a 90 degree change of direction in the torque transmission. They are available with worm wheel, planetary and spur gearboxes. Unlike an inline gearbox, our small right-angle gearboxes can be very compact and minimises the weight of the overall drive solution.
