As the Covid-19 pandemic spreads, the spirit of teamwork and support that underlines the Parvalux culture continues as strongly as ever.

Our first priority is of course the safety of our staff, customers and suppliers and early on in the Covid-19 pandemic, our parent company, maxon, was very clear about the way forward. Accordingly, we cancelled travel arrangements and restricted access to external visitors to our offices and factories. The nature of our business already requires us to maintain a high degree of cleanliness and we’ve provided our staff with additional guidance on hand-washing and social distancing, as well as increasing the availability of hygiene equipment and supplies. If you’ve been affected by any of these measures, thank you for your flexibility and patience.

Thanks to a Herculean effort by our colleagues in the IT team, those of us that are able to work from home now currently do so but in order to keep production going and as designated key workers, we need to have people operating on-site. Every day presents a new challenge and we’ll continue to adapt our plans to make sure everyone is as safe as possible, as we fulfil critical orders.

Our customers, understandably, are as concerned as we are about managing their own response to this unprecedented crisis and we are communicating with them regularly by telephone and email.

We all face a hugely difficult and worrying situation but through mutual support, good communication and common sense, we will prevail, together.

Stay safe and we’ll provide updates as the situation changes.
