Due to the wide range of variation between our motors and gearboxes it may be the case that your measurements for length, width and height substitute in and out of each other depending on your output / gearbox orientation.
The diagrams below show some examples of how these measurements may be determined incorrectly, depending on how your motor-gearbox is positioned.
It’s important to remember that the ‘length’ measurement of your unit should always be determined by the measurement that runs parallel to the motor output shaft, the diagrams below show this with more clarity.
